Creches/
Pre-schools
Note: This list comprises registered Montessori schools and those pre-school operators who have notified the HSE of their existence. The pre-school activities are extracted from a list (as of 24th May, 2011) for Limerick County at the HSE website at http://www.hse.ie

The HSE listing does not suggest any form of approval. The website also advises that it is ultimately the responsibility of the parents/guardians to choose a childcare service which meets the individual needs of their children. Finally the HSE advises that any queries regarding creches and pre-schools should be directed to the Limerick Pre-School Inspection & Information Services, phone 483591.

The Montessori register is maintained by the Irish Montessori Education Board (phone 01 2805705) and a list of all registered Montessori schools can be obtained from them.
